Old December Fragrance Sachets

Just a note to other customers. The blurb in the VTC catalog suggests tucking these sachets in Christmas cards. If you put them in cards to be mailed the post office may require you to send each card as a package because the sachets make the envelopes too thick for a regular sorting machine. I had already written out 9 cards and paid $2.62 per card to send them. The sachets are lovely and smell warm and inviting. I'm keeping the rest of the sachets for hand-delivered cards and cards included in large present packages.

I am very happy with the scent and I will be enclosing them in my Christmas cards.

These sachet packets are quite charming for their old-fashioned picture styles. Not the usual flowery stuff. Packets are of durable paper material and pleasant to hold, not teeny but of a size that would fit in a large greeting card envelope. You could even remove the sachet and frame the packet! Scent is the same for all the sachets, which was disappointing, but the scent is Christmasy - citrus, flowers, balsam sort of thing. I'll use with the lacy and lovely Victorian pouches and gift my friends to a pouch housing a couple of sachets. Place in a fancy stocking and voila! Easy, pretty, somewhat out of the ordinary 3-in-1 gift.

I ordered enough of these to go into all our Christmas cards this year. What fun. They smell exactly like Christmas should. I got so many comments about not only the great scent, but also the wonderful vintage prints on the front of each it was quite the hard decision picking who got which picture. Great price for a fun addition to your normal holiday tradition. and in case you would be concerned, it didn't raise the postage rate to insert them
