Morals & Manners Of Victorian America Book

What a window into the way things were. You have to laugh at some of it, be stunned by other bits of it and wish for some of it to return. An easy read. It covers from how to handle your umbrella to how a gentleman should propose marriage. The table manners section is wonderful. A great book with lots of insight of the freedoms we've gained, manners and courtesy we have lost, and the good riddance of a lot to do about nothing. Recommend reading.

For anyone who loves the Victorian era, this book is a must have. So many tidbits of interesting information. Loved the illustrations as well.
