I ordered two of the cups and saucers but sadly the dye lots did not match. One was much lighter and almost looked faded while the other was very dark and distinct. Have to send them back and would like to reorder but not sure if the same thing will happen.

These cups and plates are well made and came packaged perfectly, without any chips. I do have an issue with their color, however. These are in NO WAY a red or a mauve, they are a burgundy-orange shade that doesn't go well with Holiday reds. Though my house is decorated in Early American decor, I had hoped for a more muted tone. I will keep the 6 sets that I ordered for tea parties, but they will be more appropriate for everyday parties than Holiday parties. You will either love them and be fine with the color or be sad that they are not the color you thought from the photo.

Really like this idea...for any tea drinker it will be appreciated. Though my favorite is fine china English scenes vs porcelain it is good quality glaze and very subdued but beautiful colors.

This little set is very nice. I now have 3 sets and will continue getting them until I reach a total of 8 sets.I have the tea pot that goes with these cup and saucers and just enjoy using them.Although they are not fine china, they are sturdy, not bulky, and work well with my other tea cups and accesories.

My husband has a fondness for the red/pink toile patterns, so I occasionally pick up teacups that he might like. He absolutely loves this set and the teapot that goes with it. The biggest thing I noticed is that it is sturdy, doesn't feel delicate like many tea cups. We both like the little snack saucer, and the entire set is perfect for tea with company. My only complaint is that there aren't more pieces to the pattern that I have found as of yet.
