Emily Dickinsons Inkwell & Quill Pen
May 31, 2015
The inkwell is incredibly tiny, but I could live with that. But the quill on the pen was scrunched and bent at a 90 degree angle at the top. I managed to straighten it out a bit, but still looks odd and unattractive. I was quite disappointed.

Disappointed. The item looks cheap in person. The base does not have as much detail as the product photograph. The jar looks like it is sitting on an angle, which is unpleasant to look at. The lid has no seal, like a cork, to prevent the ink from evaporating. The pen holder is so small standard pens will not fit.

Received the inkwell and was very upset at the quality of the product. The quill pen was a joke it wasn't a primary feather it was very tiny with a really tiny shaft that had the nib shaft folder in thirds to hold the feather in place. There was no stopper for the ink so it would continue to evaporate. using the quill would have resulted in you being covered in ink. Thinking to just change pens I found the holder wouldn't fit a standard size pen and nip. Not the quality that I'm use to from Victoria trading company

I was so looking forward to this as it looks so nice in the picture. When I received it I was disappointed. The pen was stuffed in the box so it ended up bent and the feather was messed up. The ink well is much smaller then I expected.

This looks quite Victorian which obviously it is supposed to I am happy about that. Our guest room has Victorian decor so this fits right in.It is on the dressing table along with some stationary. Looks great. Always wanted one of these. Just have to buy some ink. It's very cute.
