Having visited Ireland several times and just recently in the past three months, I decided to surprise my wife with this cookbook. We looked forward to some of these dishes and assumed a variety of soup dishes would be available. There is ONE, only ONE, recipe for soup in this book. During our last three week visit, we counted eleven different types of soups. And we ate in the pubs from Dublin to Glendalough, to Cashel,to Killarney, to Clare County, to Cong, to Meath County. This book is a sad disappointment.

My husband is the cook, he was very happy with this cookbook. We've been to Ireland and some of the recipes bring us back to a great place.

I am Irish and I went to Ireland 3 years ago loved the food and love this cookbook. The only thing I would like to have is a recipe for Pumpkin Soup that I had in Ireland I have not been able to find one like it.

The cookbook was clearly written and the recipes were easy to follow. I purchased this as a gift for my son who loves Irish food.
