I saw that this umbrella had a wooden handle and wooden pole and that sold me. They don't make too many umbrella's like this anymore except for a lot of money. The price of this was ONLY $19.95 which is unheard of. I bought it and when it came I knew I did the right thing. it is a gorgeous umbrella. Of course the art work is excellent but the opening and closing is very sturdy. I am so happy with this item like I am with ALL my purchases from Victorian Trading Co. I am also happy that I found this company. I hope they Keep finding such hard to find items and continue to sell them at such good prices.

As always quality beyond my expectations! The large umbrella has a pop up button to spring open the umbrella, no pinching trying to open the spacious shelter beneath the beautiful Monet canvas. The handle is wooden and the large size is a handy prop to use as a walking stick or just to lean upon. I carry this in my car so it is always ready to serve... come rain or shine it is pretty enough to use as both. Love your company and will continue to be an ardent patron.

This is a very well-built and nice-looking umbrella. Worth the purchase price, for sure!

What a perfect umbrella! It is neither too small so rain runs off the umbrella and all over one and her belongings nor too large thus taking up the full width of a sidewalk and knocking into other people, but is just the perfect size. This evening when I left work I was greeted by a heavy thunderstorm. The umbrella kept me dry for the several blocks that I had to walk to my car. It didn't flip in the strong winds. The Monet garden fabric is so lovely and brightens ones view no matter how dark is the sky. I'm so glad that I purchased this umbrella.

This is a great umbrella with a wooden handle and solid mechanism. It's not as big as a golf umbrella, so very light and manageable yet good coverage. The colors are brighter than the picture, which I liked.
