Dearest Customer,
Many moons ago, we delved through our brittle repertoire of 19th c. books and prints in search of something worthy of Kris Kringle’s Milk & Cookies china #15743. We believed that ours would be ultimately of family heirloom quality. So together with our brilliant artists we conjured an enchanting mug & plate duo that would greet the red-clad humanitarian with your snicker doodles and eggnog! The samples were exquisite and the photographs were taken in anticipation of our customer's delight. But we recently received word of an unforeseen delay. The porcelain company that is creating these is trapped in a tangle of difficulties that have cost us a timely delivery. Please know that we empathize with your frustration and explored every avenue to seek a solution. To reward you for your patience, we offer you the cost of the Milk & Cookie set as a future credit ($20.00) to be included with your china when it arrives in early 2010. In essence, the Kris Kringle’s Milk & Cookies #15743 will be free. Your loyalties are dearly appreciated and we dread these rare dilemmas. We extend our utmost gratitude to you for your past patronage and value you as one of our kindred spirits!
