Old World Candle Garland
A myriad glinting stars shone through the snow-laden fir branches thus inspiring the tradition. Good Queen Charlotte introduced this German custom to England in Windsor Castle in 1800. Pre-dating electricity, care was taken to illuminate the fresh fir with tiny tapers that rested in golden discs to catch the wax drippings.

I can't wait to use these lights next Christmas on my mantels. I live in an 150 year old home and they have the antique feel I was looking for. I appreciate that the products are packed and shipped with care. Thank you!

I love these! Placed on my fireplace mantle in a green garland. Very Victorian.

I absolutely love these. They look incredible on my tree. I only wish there were more than 5 to a strand. I have bought 2 strands and they are perfect for a small tree.

These candle lights are old fashioned and quite elegant looking. I love the warm, soft yellow light. They're lovely across my mantel nestled in greenery.
