Well made hat, but sized for a smaller and more narrow head than my own. Wool is more forgiving than polyester, but I couldn't give up on this hat. I turned the headband inside out it is held in place by 4 small spots of glue and slightly spritzed the band and the hat area it would cover with 50/50 water/alcohol. I set the damp hat on a padded wig form larger than the hat and let dry 24 hours. Repeated this 3 more times adding thin layers of cotton material each time to enlarge the wig form. Place the material where you need the most change made. If you have enough material added each time, it will be tough to pull it onto the hat form. It fits like it was made for me now.

This is a great Edwardian-style hat for vintage lovers. The material is a bit stiff, but if you add a strip of felt around the inside forehead area, it's fine to wear. Very sexy! The tulle in back was a bit long, so I made 2 large bows with a few pins so that they stay up around the shoulders. The style is very sassy the veil adds mystique. Outside of the very stiff tophat, it's a cool hat will be sure to grab attention. This is an attention-getting hat, so be prepared to get lots of stares on the street. It's great for Halloween or just regular wear.

I purchased this the moment I saw it. I thought that it would be great for Fall AND Halloween. When I received it, I immediately tried it on...yeah...it's going to be for Halloween only now.Pros solid, well stitchedCons small, unforgiving material that won't give a little, uncomfortable to wear
