Meet the Artisan
Handcrafted in Fairfield, New Jersey, the Kathy Jeanne Millinery takes pride in manufacturing hats and head-wear the old fashioned way. Using wood blocks and presses that are over a century old, all of their classic hat shapes are formed using traditional methods and topped with hand stitched trims. The vintage inspired shapes and the emphasis on handmade quality are ways that Kathy Jeanne pays homage to the beauty of early millinery manufacturing while staying current with trendsetting designs by head designer, Jeanne Marie Gerish. Family-owned and operated, siblings and co-owners, Jay and Jeanne Gerish, run the business and keep the rich tradition of millinery alive in every one of their creations.
