Like Flannel Gowns of my Childhood
This gown is warm and cozy and the flannel is thick. Many flannel gowns nowadays use inferior fabric, but this one is good! The sewing is good I sew myself so I'm picky about that. The fit seems true to size and is generous due to the gathers and pattern design. I am 5'4 tall and after the first washing and drying I shrunk it slightly on purpose the length is perfect, full length, not 3/4 on me. The domed pearl buttons and crocheted lace are the kind of details I value. I have always had a sizeable sleepwear wardrobe since I was young, so I like my gowns, baby dolls, and pyjamas to be fashionable and feel sensual against the skin.

Winter nightgown
This gown is very roomy and I could have probably gone with medium instead of large. I always fear shrinkage and like my night wear roomy so I am keeping the large. The material is very soft and feels like it will be warm this winter, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I have long legs and pajamas shrink in length so this gown will be perfect. I will just wear leggings under it while lounging and until I get into bed. Since it is still hot in the mid-west I haven't slept in this one yet but I can tell I am going to love it too! I have looked at winter gowns locally and the material was not the same quality as in this gown I purchased from VTC. I highly recommend it!

Toasty warm and pretty
Love this nightgown. Keeps you toasty warm and comfortable. Great for sitting on the couch curled up with your puppies and a good book. Now I need to get the pink one!
