This was a Christmas gift from me to mesomething I usually do every year as a special treat. I've been in love w/ this robe for so long; it went on sale, I bought the L/XL, since I normally wear an L. When it got here I tried it on, I could not believe how big it was on me! Truly gorgeous, a fantasy in lace, a robe to dream ofbut way too big. So I'm exchanging for the S/M, w/ hopes of a better fit. And if I still find it a wee bit too big, I'm going to the dressmaker!! My suggestionmake S,M,L, XL. Either that, or order the smaller size. The fit is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. Otherwise, I'm truly happy I treated myself on Christine's robe. I do so love it!!

I purchased this gown after having returned the Swan's Down gown. Love Christine's Dressing Gown! Very fancy! Out of a fairy tale! It appears to be easy wash/care as well. I just wish it was available in multiple colors and I would have a few!

Oh THIS WAS AN AMAZING AND FULLY WORTH THE MONEY.It feels like soft velvet with a nice cotton lining. I am almost afraid to wear it because of its beauty! The lace is soft and not cheap feel. I feel like 150 is a huge steel for this beautiful robe!

This robe has a sweep and grandeur about it that is undeniable. It is also quite practical. It is cozy and warm, a soft velvet fabric blend of cotton with just a little polyester to better stretch over your curves. The sleeves are triple edged with lace; the whole outer edge of the garment, from neck ruffle down the front to all around the back is edged with soft, full lace edging. This gown is so cozy and wonderful I've taken to wearing it to bed as a nightgown, along with the ecru lacy socks also available from Victorian Trading Company. This is a wonderful everyday gown, although I find that I do need to tuck the train up into the belt of the gown, which works fine I'm only 5'3 but weigh 190 so I had to go with the Large/Extra Large. On a taller woman, or a thinner one who could go with the smaller size, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. This is a luxurious gown, perfect for a bridal trousseau, but also a lovely treat for everyday pampering. And who doesn't want to fee
