April Cornell Petticoat
Be your objective to add fluff or flair to your ensemble, a petticoat will deliver on both accounts.
About the Designer
Artist April Cornell's designs are inspired by her travels. Thirty-five years ago, she traveled the silk road, searching for beauty and adventure in every corner.
Believing in the importance of stopping to smell the roses, she used these experiences to create the palette for her line, which captures multicultural scents and sights with its color, compassion, and romance. Many of her prints are derived from original artwork painted by April herself, primarily the watercolors.

On a whim, I ordered this petticoat in white. When it arrived and I saw that is well made and the lace is so pretty, I had another whim and ordered one in black.I appreciate that the cotton of the petticoat is thin enough to lay nicely underneath skirts without adding too much warmth. Perfect for warm months of the calendar. The cotton breathes so the petticoats are pleasant to wear. The lace is precious in the way it plays peek-a-boo beneath both my vintage and contemporary skirts. Decades ago I had a cotton petticoat with lace trim, but I wore it so much that I eventually wore it out. These are the first petticoats that I have found since that one to be of good quality. I am delighted to have them in my wardrobe. A bit of lace beneath a skirt adds a touch of beauty to an outfit. I found them to fit true to the size guide provided.
