No Needlepoint but super cute
I was disappointed by the quality of the needlework. It is clearly machine done. The bouquet image on the front pocket is strangely shaped to fit the oblong panel. The back panel is embroidered onto a square of cotton knit that is sewn onto the corduroy. The colors are less pastel and more earthy, with burgundy, forest green and camel being the dominant colors. Up close, the quality of the stitchery does not rise to the price point. However, from afar, the machine stitching is still attractive. Overall ha!, the construction is good. The fit is just right for my 5'6 / 155 lb pear shape. I've hardly taken them off since I got them. The straps have four large buttons, so the length is readily adjustable. Buttons are sturdy and easy to undo / redo.
