DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Presoak apple packet marked (R) in 1/4 cup hot water for 10 minutes, or microwave in 1/4 cup water for 1 minute. Combine package(s) except topping packet (Marked Top), with 2/3 cup milk, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons oil, and undrained presoaked apples. Stir until blended. Fill greased muffin cups 1/2 to 2/3 full. Mix small topping packet (marked Top) with 1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine. Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons of mixture on top of each muffin. Bake 15-20 minutes or until done.
