Fresh Nutmeg & Grater
In the Victorian Era, a dapper gentleman would hardly leave home without it. He'd carry a nutmeg grater on his person. The size and shape, of course, was quite different than larger contempories. Antique graters are often in a similar petitie oval shape as the nut itself.
Garner one for yourself to dust the fresh spice upon eggnog or whipped cream mochas! Also makes a perfect hostess gift.

I bought 3 of these nutmeg sets. Two for gifts and one for me. I use fresh nutmeg all the time. The grater is not as heavy duty as I was hoping for but it works just fine. It's a great little gift for your baking buddies.

In Connecticut, what else would delight the next generation in the kitchen? Smiles all around and lots of eggnog

I had my eye on this item for a long time as a stocking stuffer for my daughters and finally bought them. I was disappointed to find how thin and flimsy-looking the grater is. It's larger than I expected, as well. However, I haven't used one so I can't say whether it holds up.

Ever year I am involved in an adaptation of Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, simply called Scrooge, with an all volunteer cast and crew. We are in our 24th season. I play Caroline Cratchit. I always look for a small rememberance gift for our director, who puts in countless hours. Thought the Fresh Nutmeg Grater would be ideal for her.

This was a gift to myself. For a very low price, I received the grater and a BAG of nutmegs! A great value as whole nutmeg is expensive at the grocery store. The wrapping is elegant and I keep it displayed.. it brings me much joy! Would make a very special and inexpensive gift
