Allow for this comfortable and beautiful hammock to sink to accommodate your weight and adjust the hanging height accordingly. This is true hammock comfort-the size of the cotton weave doesn't dig in and there are no pressure points to worry about making for a perfect nap in the shade!! I love this hammock, my second one. I have to replace it after leaving it outside all winter and it got dis colored. This year I will be taking it down in late fall to preserve its beauty!

This is a wonderful hammock. This one is the third hammock I have bought from Victoria Trading Company in 15 years. Yes, it stays in the weather and lasts for about 5 years. It is very comfortable and adds to the atmosphere of our gardens.

To the negative reviews, it seems you never used it. This will be my second order for this beautiful hammock. My last one, 4 years old, is still hanging. I've never taken it in during storms, extreme heat, or for any other reason. I even pressure washed it the third year. It's the focal point of my back yard. It was damaged during a play fight between my girlfriends, to see who was relaxing in it first. They both fell, ripping the lovely crochet trim. I've had many hammocks in my life. This is the best, durable, comfortable and very beautiful. Yes, it is romantic, as well!

I had been researching hammocks when I found this beautifully crocheted one. I live in a historical home and this looks perfect in my yard. It is both strong and light. I have it in a wood hammock supporter and have enjoyed relaxing in it.

I've pined after this hammock for a while. The reviews all looked so great I felt confident in purchasing. As most folks mention the hammock is gorgeous. It's just perfect in our butterfly garden. However, it sinks terribly. The knit/weave of the bed of the hammock is very loose and when my husband who is about 200lbs lays in it it goes all the way to the ground. I've made up for this by adjusting to the highest setting on my hammock stand. But it still sinks really low - only about 5 inches off the ground. So if you are using a hammock stand it might require some adjusting to get the right height and comfort level.Might be better if you can hang it between two trees.
