Ladycrow Silks is a family run business located in the charming hillsides of Scotland, with a passion for creating beautiful scarves and handmade pewter jewelry. They design and make all of their creations in-house and use only the finest silk, cotton, tweed and velvet fabrics. In the unique UK tradition, they handcraft their pewter collection which includes scarf rings, brooches, necklaces and earrings. Because of the unique nature of the dyeing process and manual metalwork, each of their items is truly a work of art.
Pewter was used in Britain as long ago as the 11th Century and was a highly prized metal that only the affluent could afford. It became more affordable in the Medieval times and was a favorite of the people. When brilliant colours of hand dyed and hand wrapped fabrics are held securely in place by the handsome silver tones of scarf rings, a unique accessory is born that will catch the eye and interest of all. Ladycrow Silks proudly carries on this age-old tradition and keeps the beauty of the past alive in each one of their creations.
