Slender and fair. . . A lady's hands could be judged nearly as much as her pretty face. Thought to be quite lovely, is it any wonder that a cuffed hand became a most prevalent design?

From 1880-1890, be it clasped, holding a symbol, or shaking another hand, the piece conveyed loyalty. To some, it was a subtle way to display convictions. Much glassware has been discovered with lids formed into hands holding bars. Of course, this emblem has been representive of anti-slavery for centuries.

To others, it was a token of affection. Jewelry from a adored suitor would be proudly worn.

To us, it is symbolic of grace. All are precious, and that truth can so quickly be dismissed when looking in the mirror. Secure this demure set of hands alongside your sink as a reminder to give grace and have grace for yourself.

Hang hand towels, blankets or bracelets from antiqued rack.
Requires 4 screws. Cast iron. Imported. Exclusive!
Care instructions: Handle with care, refrain from dropping.

So Cute!
I love these! They add a whimsical twist on the towel bar. Fun “jewelry” for your house. Being cast iron, they are quite substantial. I’ve never seen anything like them anywhere else. Thank you Victorian Trading for carrying these.
