Cast from an array of 19th c. Audubon architecture, the abodes run the gamut from cottages to cages. Victorians were preoccupied with housing the feathered fellows and would craft elaborate Queen Anne mansions in miniature, often commissioned to mimic a residence. Early birdhouses were referred to as "nesting boxes" while ornamental birdcages hosted a canary's melody in the parlour.

Very well made, heavy duty. Surprised to received 5 magnets as the catalog did not specify how many and i assumed that there would be only one and was willing to chance it. Holds items in place very well. Good going Victorian Trading Co.
