Morning Roses Alarm Clock
The first mechanical alarm clock was patented in France in 1847. Production ceased at the onset of WWII when factories were converted to war efforts. As clocks broke, workers were late for their shifts and "emergency clocks" were produced with permission of the government. Radio alarms soon rivaled the two-bell classic that endures today.
Creamy roses rendered by 19th c. artist Paul DeLongpre underlie the illuminated face. Ideal for guest rooms.
- Requires one AA battery (not included).
- Plastic clock face ensures durability.
- Features illuminated face.

Shipping time took longer than I expected and the payment was confusing as it was posted from my bank account, then was deleted... I thought my order was cancelled. I emailed customer service and didn't hear back from them for several days, so I called. I was told that my order was not cancelled, and she explained the payment issue with it posting to my bank, then disappearing, then coming back... didn't make sense to me. But I finally got the clock. It was packed very, it is a little smaller than I expected, but it works fine and I love the look of it.

I have always wanted a feminine on my nightstand. This alarm clock is not only useful; it's a pleasure to look at each morning.

This adorable clock is very well made. I've knocked it off my bedside table, by accident, so many times and it has not stopped working!! It's strong and beautiful..........
