Morning Roses Alarm Clock
Now Only $19.95
The first mechanical alarm clock was patented in France in 1847. Production ceased at the onset of WWII when factories were converted to war efforts. As clocks broke, workers were late for their shifts and "emergency clocks" were produced with permission of the government. Radio alarms soon rivaled the two-bell classic that endures today.
Creamy roses rendered by 19th c. artist Paul DeLongpre underlie the illuminated face. Ideal for guest rooms.
- Requires one AA battery (not included).
- Plastic clock face ensures durability.
- Features illuminated face.

I have always wanted a feminine on my nightstand. This alarm clock is not only useful; it's a pleasure to look at each morning.

Shipping time took longer than I expected and the payment was confusing as it was posted from my bank account, then was deleted... I thought my order was cancelled. I emailed customer service and didn't hear back from them for several days, so I called. I was told that my order was not cancelled, and she explained the payment issue with it posting to my bank, then disappearing, then coming back... didn't make sense to me. But I finally got the clock. It was packed very, it is a little smaller than I expected, but it works fine and I love the look of it.

Oh, MY! What a lovely clock. I have wanted one for forever, to match as closely as possible the drapes and bedspread in my bedroom. The finish is perfect, it keeps time like a champ and you will never sleep through the alarm ... I can pretty much guarantee that. Then for the nights when you can't quite sleep there's the little button to light up the face so you can see how long you've been awake. I am tickled pink with my purchase and pleased to award it 5 stars.
