What an inspiring cookbook! One would think that Edwardian recipes would be 'stuffy' and unpalatable, but these are easy to prepare and also very tasty. Thank you Larry Edwards!!

Very well made book, very good quality. The descriptions that go with each dish are very interesting, many of them are given a small amount of history concerning their origin.

I am very excited to try the recipes in this book; they look very straightforward and doable. I was disappointed, however, to find that the photographs of the dishes that were promised in the introduction were not actually included. So I will just have to imagine what a dish should have looked like. But the recipes are sure fun to read!

Bought this book as a gift for a Downton Abbey Fan; who was very delighted with all the details depicted in the book.
