Toxic Teacup And Saucer - You Have Been Poisoned
Historically renowned as the "Black Widow", Mary Ann Cotton spooned arsenic into the tea of three unsuspecting husbands and two lovers. Who, after all, would suspect a nurse? And a quite handsome one at that?
Her affinity for insurance premiums exceeded any longings for a soulmate.
Her true tale is as chilling as the chamomile that sits for hours on a January day.
Upon several sips, the foreboding message "You have been poisoned." is visible through the amber brew thereby raising eyebrows as to ones pending fate. An opulent European china pattern cannot distract from such grave concerns.
- Verdant, poison-ivy green design.
- White porcelain.

I ordered four of these teacups because I am a Halloween maniac. These are great for after meal deception! They arrived today and one of the cups was broken. I am rating four stars due to this because the box only had a very small fragile sticker on the side.If the entire box is breakable, then fragile stickers should be in view on all parts of the box.I'm pending surgery and now have the hassle of sending it back for a replacement. Still however, they are a great little entertainment piece, and I do love VTC.linda

I saw this teacup on the Victorian Trading Co. Instagram and thought it was hilarious. My mom bought it for me as a birthday gift and I am in love with it. The cup and saucer are both beautiful and substantialit is definitely not as delicate as bone china. I've already had two cups of coffee in it and will have afternoon tea later.
