Toxic Teacup And Saucer - You Have Been Poisoned
Historically renowned as the "Black Widow", Mary Ann Cotton spooned arsenic into the tea of three unsuspecting husbands and two lovers. Who, after all, would suspect a nurse? And a quite handsome one at that?
Her affinity for insurance premiums exceeded any longings for a soulmate.
Her true tale is as chilling as the chamomile that sits for hours on a January day.
Upon several sips, the foreboding message "You have been poisoned." is visible through the amber brew thereby raising eyebrows as to ones pending fate. An opulent European china pattern cannot distract from such grave concerns.
- Verdant, poison-ivy green design.
- White porcelain.

I found this for a friend of mine who shares my dark humor. I cannot wait for her to see it, she will LOVE it as much as I did!

What a neat idea. The cup is not as delicate and the decoration is not as fine as I would have liked, but it is quite a conversation piece.

I have an annual get together at Halloween each year and love to decorate - these will be a fun addition to my Halloween table. They are lovely and wicked. They have a nice weight to them and are seemingly innocent. Can hardly wait till the girls see them.

The tea cup and saucer are absolutely beautiful and the message at the bottom never fails to entertain. A wonderful product shipped safely in a lovely box. I am eager to serve all of my guests. Thank you!

I LOVE this teacup set. It is large enough to use as coffee cups. I serve after dinner coffee and my friends get a laugh when they come to the bottom message. I really wish you had matching dessert plates so I can use them to serve a snack when someone just drops in for a visit.
