Victorian Trading Products
I have been a customer of Victorian Trading for many years. Over and over, I have enjoyed their stationery, Christmas cards, blank cards, stickers, teacups, teapots, linen, seasonal items and bathroom accessories. I chose this Chintz Tea for One because the pattern is beautiful and it mixes with any other china in my china cabinet. It's feminine and quaint. Perfect for one. Perfect for me. The quality your bring into your merchandise is outstanding. You know Your customers and provide a beautiful spectrum of products through Your catalogs and webpage. Thank you Victorian Papers for keeping the beauty of the Romantic era very much alive.

Gift to myself
I purchased the tea for one as a gift to myself for my 65th birthday. It appears even lovlier in person and the cup size is very generous. The roses on the ivory colored background give it a vintage look which is what I wanted. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Not as shown in the photo.
Sadly, I am disappointed in the purchase and I am thinking of returning it. The teapot, cup and saucer are made of a heavy material almost resembling earthenware rather than porcelain. The background color is off white and not the delicate, luminous white porcelain looking tea set shown in this photo. When reflected in the light I can see the decal edges of chintz roses that I fear will eventually wash off with repeated use. I guess I got what I paid for but I was hoping for better.
