English Garden Sugar Cubes (Set Of 18)
An exasperated Austrian woman beseeched her husband to devise a single serving sugar. In 1843, the Swiss-born owner of a beet sugar refinery employed women to crank out 10 tons of cubes a day- much to Vienna's delight. Perched upon the saucer, iced flowers sweeten both tea and conversation.
- 18 assorted 1" squares.

Very attractive product. Contributed to a lovely afternoon tea in honor of a friend whose son had recently died.

I have had many versions of these sugar cubes and always a big hit. They were sold in Japan when we lived there for lots of occasions but I more often bought them at Christmas time. They are very special.

I bought them for the Trillium Teas we give every year and love how beautiful they are. They'll look great on the tables.

They are charming on a table and delicious in a cup of tea. I ordered the sugar cubes, forgot that ordered them and ordered again. Then I had double - but no problem. I can use them for many upcoming spring celebrations. People seemed to delight in the little sugars and flowers.
