Angel Of Honor Candle Holder
Strike a match and pay tribute to someone dear with an Edwardian devotional. Caught between nouveau and deco, a WWI era figure upholds truth and light with great reverence.
The winged figural hails from a stone monument that marks the final resting place of a fallen soldier in northern Europe, "...where poppies grow and soldiers sleep".
Pictured with pillar candle.
- 15" tall.
- Cast iron.

Usually I am very pleased with my VT purchases but not this time. The surface of the statue is very rough and the face has no definition. The face is rather ugly and ape ish looking. I would return but cast iron makes it very heavy and expensive to do so. I had wanted it to go with my French decor - now, not so much. I can not recommend this purchase.

Kind of a rough casting. I ordered it for my house but it looks more like something you might want to put in the garden. That's probably what i'll do. Heavy and sturdy.

I finally took the plunge and ordered this lovely lady. She is very heavy and fits into my Victorian home perfectly. She doesn't have a lot of detail, but I happen to like that. It only adds to makes her a bit more mysterious.
