Examine carefully upon opening
The crossed metal holder left marks on the lantern. I had already inserted batteries so I was stuck with keeping it. I live in hurricane prone Florida- just hoping I won’t have to use it for that purpose! The light gives off a warm glow.

Timeless Hurricane Lantern
This lantern is cheaply made plastic throughout. It was very difficult to turn on and then impossible to turn off. Opening and changing batteries was the only thing that worked properly on this lantern. I would recommend not spending the money purchasing this item.
