Drippy Old Candle Nightlight
Reminiscent of a Dickens novel, a buttery glow exudes the faux taper with "charred" wick. Appearing to have endured hours of burn time, the amber hue emulates warmed, drizzled beeswax.
Tiptoeing down a dim corridor, one finds her way toward the bedchamber by light of this pretender.
In History. . .
Victorians once employed a small handheld light-holder known as a "Go to Bed". A long match was struck and inserted into a hole on the brass novelty affording just enough time to find their featherbed.

Up until this last order, I have been pleased with items from V.T.P. When I received my last order that included Drippy candles, I was very disappointed. The candle holder does not look like it does in the catalog. It looks as if it has been spray painted a dull gold. The candle in the picture has a sparkly, pretty surface; not so in person. I would have returned them, if it wouldn't have been a pain.

I was surprised when I opened the box to find such a poorly made item from VTC. Everything else I've ever bought from them has been good quality. This night light is just cheap, shiny plastic. It sits loosely on its base and looks cheesy on the wall. It's one redeeming quality is that it has an on/off switch. I'll be returning it.

I had one of these that lasted for years. When I died, I purchased two new ones. Both nightlights melted. Had I not smelled them burning, it could have caused a fire! The nightlights were in different outlets so the electrical outlet was not the issues. This was an out of the box, plugged in, melted within 24 hours!
