It is a perfect addition to my wedding day. I am carrying it, instead of a bouquet in my Victorian outdoor wedding in May. Thank you.

As someone else mentioned, these are flimsy, and she and I are on our third one. I would have preferred spending more and getting quality. The spokes are not made of strong material. But the umbrella works fabulously well to keep you cool in the sun heat and breeze flow through and up the lace, and they provide sufficient shade as you walk the street or even go from parking lot to store. I wouldn't be without one any more. And also as someone else said, these attract compliments open and closedand everywhere. all the women love them, and ask where I got mine. Some smart manufacturer will make these not just for a few openings and closings at a wedding, but strong enough for daily use.

Bought this as a gift for a lovely woman who was using a regular umbrella to keep the strong sun off She loves it and says it makes her feel like a princess

Even if you carry your parasol closed, people will comment on it; open it, and you have the same sort of semi-shade from the sun you would have under a tree with a slight breeze blowing the leaves. It is lovely in the summertime, to provide just enough protection from the sun's heat.Unfortunately, these are flimsy, and I am on my third purchase. They simply do not hold up well, so treat yours very gently, and perhaps buy a back-up.Also they lack that strip that goes around a closed umbrella to keep it tightly closed. Having that would make it even more attractive. So this product is a great idea, but really Victorian trading company should look for a more substantial product and a more reliable manufacturera company that that makes the product for actual use, as opposed to decoration or one-time use at a wedding.

I purchased this to take with me for an outdoor wedding in Charleston, S.C. in August . . . I was the most comfortable person there! The sun was so hot, I also used it while walking around the city and received lots of compliments people saying what a smart idea !.
