Deliciously soft, delightfully literate, and just crying out for a comfy corner and a cup of tea on a cool day. If you're a lover of books you'll want this throw in your library, no matter if it's only a chair next to your eReader. It is so light you barely know it's there, but effective enough to warm your toes, your chin and everything in between. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this for my daughter. It’s beautiful and so soft! I washed and dried it. It didn’t shrink or become distorted. It’s nice and cozy. The only “negative” is that it doesn’t fold small enough to lay on the back of a couch or on the end to display when not in use. This is due to the thickness/puffiness of the inner material. It doesn’t feel like traditional quilt batting but more like the batting for stuffed animals. This is most likely what makes it so soft!I would highly recommend this lap quilt.PS the dog likes snuggling on this rather than her own blanket now!

I received this book throw as a Christmas present. I love the silky texture and the thickness of it. It's both elegant and comfortable and great for curling up with a good book on a cold night.

I was very leary about the kind of fabric and workmanship I would find on a piece like this...but all those vintage bookcovers were calling to me! So I took a chance, and am very glad I did. This is a lap-sized, soft, lightweight throw with lovely rich colors. The book covers are nicely rendered, easily identifiable as covers of vintage tomes.I have placed this on a loveseat in our Victorian steampunk styled home library, and it looks like it was meant to be there.I only had to shake this out. It did not need any steaming. A caveat...I doubt the fabric of this sweet piece would stand up to the explorations of a cat. The fabric is a tad on the dainty side and might well snag.Other than that, this is a perfect addition to my home!

This is nice and soft and has a lot of loft. The book covers actually look really good. I wish the books lined up horizontally rather than vertically, though. It's a gift for someone who taught High School English and loves everything Victorian. I think she'll make a good home for this Book Throw.
